On Thursday 31 March 2022, a virtual exchange session took place in order to learn more about some regional long-term planning initiatives. The event was organised by the Fundación Internacional y para Iberoamérica de Administración y Políticas Públicas (FIIAPP) as part of the EUROCLIMA+ Programme and in the framework of the initiative "Regional Collaboration on Transparency and Compliance with Nationally Determined Contributions and Capacity Building for Long-Term Climate Strategies".

On Thursday, 10 February 2022, a webinar open to the whole community was held to present the study "Background and recommendations for the development, updating and sustainability of Long-term Climate Strategies in Latin American countries". The meeting consisted of a virtual exchange session where we addressed information on the main aspects to take into account when developing a Long Term Climate Strategy (LTCS), existing experiences from which countries in the region can draw and the current situation and prospects of long-term planning processes.
