The Project “Capacity Building for Flood and Drought Disaster Risk Reduction and Promotion of Resilience in Central America” of the EUROCLIMA+ Programme financed by the European Union, aims to attack the phenomena of floods and droughts that often hit the region. “Government actions have already been taken on these issues and the EUROCLIMA+ project marks an important point in intersectoral cooperation, since three SICA secretariats have the opportunity to carry out regional and international strategic interventions of significant magnitude in the beneficiary countries”, Salvador Nieto, Executive Secretary of the Central American Commission for Environment and Development (CCAD)
