On Thursday 28 July, the virtual exchange session on lessons learned in the development of long-term climate strategies and the relevance of carbon budgets took place. The meeting consisted of an exchange session where we addressed information on the main aspects to take into account when developing a LTCS, the existing experiences from which you can draw when developing your national strategies, and the current situation and perspectives of these long-term planning processes in the region.

On Thursday 21 April 2022, the 27th virtual exchange session of the Community of Practice on Climate Policy Monitoring and Evaluation (CoPME) took place under the title " Assessment of Climate Impact Losses and Damages - Part 3". The session, the third in a series that will address this topic, aimed to present how loss and damage (L&D) negotiations are being addressed from the region and to learn about the disaster damage assessment methodology developed in Colombia. The main messages of the session are presented below.
