Euroclima at the LACCW in Panama - October 23rd - October 27th

In today's world, we face an urgent, interconnected crisis – a triple planetary challenge comprising climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.

To harness the momentum and share innovative solutions, four Regional Climate Weeks are set to unfold this year in the lead-up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP28 in Dubai.

The Latin America and the Caribbean Climate Week took place from October 23 to 27 in Panama City. This event served as a dynamic platform for stakeholders to engage in conversations about climate solutions, obstacles, and prospects across various regions. This event was organised in parallel with the XXIII Meeting of the Forum of Ministers of Environment of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Euroclima hosted 20 side-events during LACCW, each tailored to address four major systems-based tracks: Energy Systems and Industry; Cities, Urban and Rural Settlements, Infrastructure, and Transport; Land, Ocean, Food, and Water; and Societies, Health, Livelihoods, and Economies.
