On Thursday 14 October, the virtual regional exchange session took place to address the approach of decarbonisation scenarios and strategies for the AFOLU sector in the framework of the LTCS.
The event was organised by the International and Ibero-America Foundation for Administration and Public Policy (FIIAPP) as part of the EUROCLIMA+ Programme and in the framework of the initiative "Regional Collaboration on Transparency and Compliance with Nationally Determined Contributions and Capacity Building for Long-Term Climate Strategies".
The session was attended by some 38 representatives of the governments of Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica and Uruguay, countries that are part of the initiative, as well as Panama, Ecuador, El Salvador, Bolivia, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Peru and Honduras, countries that were also invited to participate.
