This action seeks to promote the creation of legislative frameworks conducive to the implementation of electric mobility in the region. This is done through technical, legislative and regulatory support activities for, for example, the creation of a National Law on Electric Mobility in Argentina, a legal and regulatory framework in Colombia, or a model law on electric mobility in the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament that could be used as a basis for legislators throughout the region to develop their own national and sub-national bills.

In addition, the regional network of electric mobility legislators or "electro-legislators" was created with the participation of members of congress from nine different countries in the region.
