Christiana Figueres officially announces that COP20 will take place in Lima, Peru. 

Peru will host the global largest event on climate change in 2014.

July will be an intense month for representatives and experts of Latin America and the Caribbean interested in the exchange of experience on climate change finances. A webinar on this topic will take place on 9 July and the II Regional Dialogue on climate change finance in Latin America and the Caribbean will take place from 29 till 30 July in San Salvador.

As part of its Communities of Practice, the Regional Portal REGATTA, organises an online forum on the implications of the scale of the climate projections in the study of the impacts of climate change in Andean agriculture.
