The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office launched a new map to show the impact climate change could have on the whole planet by the end of the century if carbon emissions continue to increase.
The UNFCCC Secretariat has added a newsroom feature to its website. A newsroom page now greets visitors to the site (www.unfccc.int), displaying news regarding climate change and stories about climate actions being taken all over the world by governments, companies, cities, the UN and civil society.
The Technical Assistance of EUROCLIMA is elaborating a review of adaptation and mitigation measures of “no regrets” and/or with co-benefits in cooperation with ECLAC.
The International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) will convene its next Training Course on Emissions Trading in Santiago, Chile, from 5 to 14 May 2014. Participation is open to applicants from countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Application deadline is 17 February 2014.
