- In the province of Loja in southern Ecuador, a total of 45 professionals were trained as development facilitators in risk management, mitigation, and adaptation to climate change at the National University of Loja.
- In the Piura region of northern Peru, 80 professionals are being trained in two specialised courses: "Risk Assessors in the face of natural phenomena" and "Planning and investment in disaster risk management projects".
This exchange addressed issues of common interest such as planting, crop management, harvesting, post-harvesting and marketing.
