New publication and technical sheet: "Systematisation of the contribution of projects of the Resilient Food Production (RFP) sector to the nationally determined contributions (NDC) of the Paris Agreement"

At the request of the National Focal Points of the EUROCLIMA+ Programme, Technical Assistance (TA) of the Resilient Food Production (RFP) component
has carried out this systematisation study of the contributions of the 10 component projects to the NDCs in 11 direct beneficiary countries.

The overall objective is to systematise the contribution of the 10 projects to the nationally determined contributions (NDC) in the Paris agreement (2015) of the participating countries. It is broken down into two specific objectives:

  1. To systematise and structure the information on the contributions of each project to the NDCs of the 11 participating countries
  2. Analyse and review the proposed values for indicator IE3 (Number and type of contributions to NDCs and other strategies) in the logical frameworks of each project and verify their alignment with the indications of the methodological guide of the RFP component for reporting on this indicator.

The purpose of this systematisation is twofold: to review the target values for future monitoring and evaluation of project contributions to the NDCs, allowing for value-added reporting at the RFP component level; and to facilitate the annual updating of the monitoring of project contributions to the implementation of the NDCs.
