Climate Governance integrates the experience of four agencies

International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP)

(FIIAPP) is a state public sector foundation of the Spanish cooperation system, which manages international cooperation projects under the framework of the 2010 Agenda. Its foundational purpose is to improve the institutional framework and the functioning of public systems in the countries where it works.

Its work is based on the exchange of knowledge, learning among peers and counterpart public administrations in different countries. Present in more than 100 countries, it accompanies institutions and partner countries in public policy reform processes guided by their priorities and shared agendas.

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

GIZ operates as an international cooperation service provider for sustainable development and international educational work; we are committed to working for a decent future worldwide. We have more than 50 years of experience in a wide range of fields, from economic development and employment to the promotion of peace and security, energy and environmental issues. The extensive technical solvency of the federal company GIZ is demanded by entities all over the world: the German Federal Government, European Union institutions, the United Nations, the private sector and governments of other countries. We cooperate with companies, civil society actors and scientific institutions, thus contributing to a successful interaction between development policy and other policy areas and fields of action. Our main contractor is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC)

ECLAC is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations and its headquarters are in Santiago, Chile. It was founded to contribute to the economic development of Latin America, coordinating actions aimed at its promotion and strengthening economic relations among countries and with other nations of the world. Subsequently, its work was extended to Caribbean countries and the objective of promoting social development was incorporated.
