Under the theme "Shaping our common future: working for prosperous, cohesive and sustainable societies for our citizens", the EU-CELAC Summit held in Brussels on 10-11 June 2015 brought together European, Latin American and Caribbean leaders to strengthen relations between these regions. This year’s discussions focused on important global challenges including climate change.

The second EU-CELAC / 8th EU-LAC summit will be held in Brussels on 10-11 June 2015 under the theme: "Shaping our common future: working for prosperous, cohesive and sustainable societies for our citizens". Fight against climate change will be one of the main aspects that will be discussed by European, Latin American and Caribeean leaders during the Summit.
