5th Regional Seminar of EUROCLIMA ends

Seminar was held in Mexico City and brought together about 50 government officials of Europe and Latin America, which for two days discussed issues related to regional cooperation in environmental sustainability and climate change and its priorities by 2020.

At the opening of the V Regional Seminar EUROCLIMA, representatives of the European Union and Latin America said it is time to addressing climate change, focusing on the poorest population, which would be the most affected.

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is eager to get countries to submit as soon as possible their action plans that will form the basis of the new universal climate change agreement to be adopted in December in Paris.
