The EU-funded EUROCLIMA Programme gathered experts from five Latin American governments to share experiences on risk prevention and management.
On 23 and 24 August, the EU-funded EUROCLIMA Programme organises a workshop of Latin American experts to learn about the Early Warning System (SIATA) of Medellín and the Aburrá Valley in Colombia.
Event will be organized by ECLAC as part of EUROCLIMA. It will be held on 14 and 15 July in coordination with the Government of Peru, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Environment. The workshop is also supported by the German Federal Government, through GIZ.
EUROCLIMA, Regional Cooperation Programme between the European Union and Latin America focused on climate change, participated for the first time at Europe’s leading forum on development and international cooperation. The event was held on 15 and 16 June in Brussels.
