Communities of Practice

Within the EUROCLIMA+ programme, the following communities of practice are available:

The Community of Practice on Climate Policy Monitoring and Evaluation (CoP M&E) which was created in 2018 to address the need identified in Latin American countries for robust, well-constructed and practical systems for the monitoring and evaluation of climate policies and their action plans.

The Community of Practice on Private Sector Involvement in Climate Policy Processes in Latin America whose objective is to contribute to the development and consolidation of mechanisms to articulate private sector participation in the formulation and implementation of climate policies with a particular focus on the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

The Community of Practice on mobility in the region, called the Platform for Sustainable Urban Mobility in Latin America, which aims to strengthen and expand the capacities of local governments in sustainable urban mobility projects and programmes. In this way, it is intended that there be correct conceptualization, planning, development, implementation and monitoring of these initiatives and policies in the transport sector.
