Photographs: Closing Ceremony of Climate Change Academies

This project trained municipalities in Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile and Ecuador. The ceremony was held on April 6, 2017 in the hall of honor of the Municipality of Santiago.


This joint project trained municipalities in Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile and Ecuador. The ceremony was held on April 6, 2017 in the hall of honor of the Municipality of Santiago.

The project "Academies of Climate Change: Municipalities, Energy Transition and Adaptation based on Ecosystems" was developed by Adapt-Chile and supported by the European Union through EUROCLIMA.

During the activity, the results obtained in the project were presented. In addition, the plans of the Chilean Network of Municipalities for Climate Change for the year 2017 were presented.

The event was aimed at the Municipalities that are part of this network, those interested in climate change, as well as public officials and representatives of Academia, International Organizations and Civil Society organizations. Representatives of the Climate Change Office of the Ministry of Environment of Chile (led by its director Maritza Jadrijevic, Focal Point of EUROCLIMA in Chile) and the Delegation of the European Union to Chile also participated.
