This webinar presented tools developed by the NGO Adapt-Chile with the support of EUROCLIMA Technical Assistance to support municipalities in the participatory development of local climate change plans. The tools have been validated in workshops with local governments in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Uruguay. The first tool has been published and is available at the 'EUROCLIMA books' section of this website.

This webinar presented a guide for Latin American countries with detailed information on international funding sources. The Thematic Study number 10 of EUROCLIMA Technical Assistance, "Climate Finance in Latin America: A Guide to Access the Principal International Funding Initiatives" (to be published in May) will provide detailed information regarding particular requirements for access to the main funds active in Latin America. By facilitating access to relevant funding initiatives, the guide aims to support the implementation of climate actions, in particular within the framework of the NDCs.
Climate finance and sustainable urban mobility in Latin America

Significant investments are needed to advance climate action for sustainable urban transport, backed by adequate climate finance. There is a need to better integrate climate change issues into urban mobility projects to facilitate access to available funds. EUROCLIMA has been supporting Latin American countries to formulate climate finance proposals in order to be submitted to national and international funds. This webinar will share examples and experiences to enhance sustainable urban mobility in Latin America.
The webinars will be held in Spanish.
