"Results of the Regional Meeting "Climate Change and Gender Equality: For gender-sensitive climate action in Latin America and the Caribbean", an event organised by Euroclima+ and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) held the high-level event.
On Tuesday, November 8, the cycle of technical workshops began, aimed at students of educational centres in 8 localities of the department of San José, Uruguay, which are exclusively supplied by groundwater from the Raigón Aquifer and are located within the Santa Lucía River Basin.
The importance of high-impact planning, participation, articulation and joint efforts to secure the water supply in risk situations were the main themes of the Urban Water thematic day in the EUROCLIMA+ pavilion at COP27.
At #EuroclimaCOP27 the side event "Progress and challenges of the inclusion of indigenous peoples in climate policies in the region, in the framework of the Paris Agreement" took place.
