New Financial Mechanisms for Clean Energy Investments in Latin America

1014 Downloads

Latin America has enormous potential in almost all renewable resources. Non-conventional renewable sources are becoming the cheapest sources of power, enabling countries’ electricity matrixes to become progressively cleaner and affordable.

The report identifies barriers hindering the uptake of clean energy resources in Latin America's electricity systems whilst recognizing the financial sector's pivotal role and related challenges.
