On Thursday 9 September, a virtual regional exchange session took place to address the approach to mitigation scenarios and strategies for the energy sector in the framework of the LTCSs.
The event was organised by the Fundación Internacional y para Iberoamérica de Administración y Políticas Públicas (FIIAPP) as part of the EUROCLIMA+ Programme and in the framework of the initiative "Regional Collaboration on Transparency and Compliance with Nationally Determined Contributions and Capacity Building for Long Term Climate Strategies".
The session was attended by around 20 representatives of the governments of Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica and Uruguay, countries that form part of the initiative, as well as Panama, Peru and Honduras, countries that were also invited to participate.
