How do adult women get around in Latin American cities? Lina Esperanza Mendoza uses the bicycle as a means of transport to get around on the streets of Bogotá.

The 47-year-old Colombian woman tells us how she decided to get on a two-wheeler. Her story aims to promote a gender perspective in mobility, one of the objectives of Sustainable Urban Mobility in Latin America, a project promoted by EUROCLIMA+.

"Thanks to the bike I discovered that it is never too late to make decisions for change, that I am capable of taking on challenges that I previously thought were only for young people," said Lina.
