Objective:

Promote public policies and management capacities on energy efficiency through innovative tools, pilot projects, energy audits and training at the municipal level, with a view toward replicability and scalability at national and regional levels.

1. Strengthened capacities of local governments for the appropriate use of energy efficiency tools.

2. Development of a manual for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in public buildings.

3. Communication and dissemination plan on energy efficiency.

4. Training on gender perspective for the teams responsible for project management.

5. Diagnosis of the local and national institutional situation regarding energy efficiency.

6. Mapping of funders and funds for energy efficiency projects in the local government realm and development of a project portfolio.

7. Energy audits in selected municipalities.
