San Salvador, El Salvador, 29 July, 2013. The Regional Dialogue seeks to bring together 125 participants from 20 governments throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, 15 multilateral organization and bilateral agencies, and civil society organizations and academia.
Pioneers in climate finance from governments in Asia-Pacific and Africa are also invited. The Second Dialogue aims to gather on behalf of governments, officials at a high technical level (director) of Ministries of Environment, Development, Finance, and Foreign Affairs/Development Planning.
Likewise, technical representatives of the Inter-institutional Climate Finance Committee (CIFCC) of El Salvador will attend the event, currently comprised of 20 institutions, given its important work at national level.
