Santiago de Chile, November 22, 2012. The Team Leader of Technical Assistance of EUROCLIMA, Mr. Jan A. J. Karremans and the RCU Coordinator Mr. Heitor Matallo met in Santiago de Chile on 22th November 2012.

The officers exchanged information, materials and views on modalities of cooperation in the region taking advantage of the RCU office in Santiago.

EUROCLIMA is a programme financed by the European Commission with the objective to address the challenges of climate change and to contribute to reduce the vulnerability and improving the living conditions of the population in Latin America.

The main objectives of EUROCLIMA are in line with those of the UNCCD 10-years Strategy, in particular those related to the reduction of the vulnerability and socio-economic inequalities and to strengthen the regional dialogue.
